What a Show! From the colorful and cordinated outfits to kick ass, bass pounding bhangra dhol beats. Dhol Di Awaz, blew the doors off in San Francisco, CA.

Another great Bay Area success, Dhol Di Awaz 2005 showed that Punjabi Passion and Culture are strong and thriving. Teams from all of California and other states including Texas and Florida [Phulorida] were present to compete in this West Coast Premiere Competition. Sold out capasity crowd at over 3200 plus rock the Berkeley Theatre.

Male groups, Female groups, and Co-ed groups all performed their hearts outs. Performers included:

Univ. of Texas, Austin - Texas Bhangra
UC Riverside - Virsa Punjab Da
++ Other performance and exhibitions included the Cal Kuriyan Kamal Diyan, UCB Yaaran Di Dholi, Josheeley Punjabi, and Walnut Creek De Gabroo

The shows and skits made the time fly by. At the end, the winners were crowned:
1. Phulorida Bhangra
2. Giddha Dian Ranian [Congrats Jagmeet Judge and Girls]
3. Sher Foundation
