Soni Pabla the young and talented artist with hits songs Gal Dil Di and others passed away last night after collapsing at a gig.

New sources in Canada, where he was performing, have provided us with information that he collapsed on stage. It was discovered that he had a heart attack and passed away on the way to the hospital in the ambulance.

Born and raised in India; Soni moved to Toronto, Canada in the mid 90s. Under the teachings of Mahesh Malwani he studied, which led him towards a recording contract. Soni released his Heeray Heeray in 2002. In 2004, Soni teamed up with Sukshinder Shinda to create a masterpiece titled Gal Dil Di. Soni now resided in India and visits Canada from time to time.

Soni Pabla will be missed. He was a talented young light on the Bhangra scene.We wish his family and friends strength and warm thougths.
